Professor Brett D. Wick is part of a group of researchers who was recently awarded a Discover Award from the Australian Research Council.
The researchers in the project are Xuan Duong of Macquarie University, Steve Hoffmann of the University of Missouri, and El Maati Ouhabaz of the University of Bordeaux. The award title "Harmonic analysis: function spaces and partial differential equations" will fund research collaboration between these researchers and the project aims to solve a number of important problems at the frontier of harmonic analysis on metric measure spaces. Harmonic analysis has been instrumental to several fields of mathematics including complex analysis and partial differential equations which have had many applications in engineering and technology. This project will solve a number of important problems as well as develop new approaches and techniques for research in harmonic analysis and related topics. Funding is for 2019-2021 at $390,000 (AUD).
