Holmes receives NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship

Irina Holmes, currently a Hale Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech, received an NSF postdoctoral fellowship for her work in Harmonic Analysis. She will spend 2016-2018 at Washington University, working with sponsoring scientist Brett Wick.

Holmes received her Ph.D. from LSU in 2014. Her graduate work was in probability and infinite-dimensional analysis, developing the Gaussian Radon transform for infinite-dimensional Banach spaces. As a postdoc at Georgia Tech, Holmes focused on Harmonic Analysis, specifically two-weight inequalities, dyadic harmonic analysis, and multiparameter analysis. At Washington University, she will continue this work as well as take on some exciting new projects.
