The Mathematics Department of Washington University in St. Louis, MO, has two openings for tenure track Assistant Professor in mathematics, to begin August 2017. Responsibilities include teaching three one-semester courses per year, maintaining a strong research program, publishing the results of the research, and normal student advising and departmental and university service.
Mathematicians in all areas will be considered. A Ph.D. in mathematics is required.
Applicants should provide their CV, publication list, research and teaching statements, and arrange for four letters of recommendation to be submitted. At least one of the letters should report on the applicant’s teaching abilities.
