"A Two Weight Estimate for the Hilbert Transform"

Abstract: In this talk, we will discuss necessary and sufficient conditions for when the Hilbert transform satisfies a certain two weight estimate. In particular, when the weights are equal, we recover the famous T(1) theorem for the Hilbert transform in the one weight setting. We will discuss some examples that show the necessity of these conditions and how these conditions generalize the T(1) conditions of David and Journe from one weight to two weights.
