Szego Seminar: "From Lie groups to Lie groupoids"

Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss the notion of a Lie groupoid which is a generalization of a Lie group. In particular, we will study the generalized version of the existing notions for Lie groups in the Lie groupoid setup. If time permits, I will talk about a result which relates transitive Lie groupoids and the gauge groupoid associated to a principal $G$-bundle.
