Geometry and Topology Seminar: "Differential forms on inertia space"

Abstract: Let $G$ be a compact Lie group acting on a smooth manifold $M$. The inertia space of the $G$ action on $M$ naturally appears in the study of $G$-equivariant vector bundles on $M$. When the action is not free, the corresponding inertia space is a singular manifold. In this talk, we will propose a geometric model of differential forms on the inertia space. This is joint work with Markus Pflaum and Hessel Posthuma.
