Combinatorics Seminar: "Matrix Schubert varieties with a view towards T-varieties"

Abstract: In this talk, we present combinatorial aspects of matrix Schubert and Kazhdan-Lusztig varieties. In particular, we are interested in examining the natural effective torus action on these varieties and characterize the complexity of this torus action in terms of Rothe diagram. This is a joint-work with Maria Donten-Bury and Laura Escobar.
