Analysis Seminar/Third Year Oral Examination: "Two weight inequality for the Hilbert transform"

Abstract: In this talk we will discuss the two weight inequality for the Hilbert transform and look at real variable characterization of the pair weights for which the inequality holds. I will briefly sketch the proof and necessary conditions for the inequality. The two weight inequality is well motivated by applications to operator Theory and spectral Theory.
