Analysis Seminar: "Function theory and $\ell^p$ spaces"

Abstract: The space $\ell^p_A$ consists of the analytic functions on the open unit disk whose Taylor coefficients are $p$th-order summable.  Except for the cases $p=1$ and $p=2$, relatively little is known about these spaces.  We will survey some recent results and some of the tools that made them possible, including an extension of the Pythagorean theorem.
