Algebraic Geometry Seminar: "Spaces of rational curves on Fano threefolds"

Abstract: I will talk about several results on the geometry of moduli spaces of rational curves on smooth Fano threefolds. The key question that I will discuss is: what can be said about the number of irreducible components of the moduli space as the anti-canonical degree of the curves increases? This is joint work with Brian Lehmann, Eric Riedl, and Sho Tanimoto.
