Algebraic Geometry Seminar: "Asymptotic geometry and convexity"

Abstract: The volume function for divisors connects the asymptotic theory of divisors with the theory of convex functions on cones.  I will discuss how to construct a "dual" theory for curves from these two perspectives. This is joint work with Mihai Fulger and joint work with Jian Xiao.
