Algebraic and Arithmetic Geometry Seminar: "Tropical totally positive cluster varieties"

Abstract: Given a cluster structure on a polarized projective variety X (e.g. a Grassmannian, Schubert variety, flag variety) there are (at least) two notions of tropicalization:
(1) The tropicalization of the ideal whose vanishing set is X in its given embedding.
(2) The Fock--Goncharov tropicalization of the (compactified) cluster variety.
We recall both notions of tropicalization and explain how they are related through total positivity.
