In April 2025, Business Manager* Fiona Vaughn was one of seven staff members to be named a 2025 Outstanding Staff Award Winner in Arts & Sciences.

“Arts & Sciences recently announced the 2025 Outstanding Staff Award recipients, who will be celebrated at the Danforth and CFU Staff Milestone Celebration on May 20**. Each recipient made exceptional contributions to the university through service, leadership, or teaching. Congratulations to all the awardees!”
In recognition of her contributions to both the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Statistics and Data Science, Vaughn won the Staff Service Award:
“This award recognizes a staff member who has been a key player in operations critical to their unit and Arts & Sciences. Awardees’ performance has consistently exceeded expectations, improved operational effectiveness, and established them as a reliable and trusted colleague.”
