• I met my husband (Richard) in Linear Algebra at Calvin University. He’s a physicist/software engineer and has helped me get Sagemath and all the packages I want up and running! As of October 2023, we have a beautiful baby girl.
  • I enjoy knitting and crocheting! My go-to projects include washcloths, potholders, baby booties, baby blankets, and scarves. I’ll often be working on my latest projects at conferences.
  • I also enjoy taking pictures, reading, and watching my husband & our friends play videogames (and sometimes joining in).
