    Professor ​Kerr earned his doctorate in Mathematics from Princeton University in 2003, and subsequently held positions at UCLA, the Max Planck Institut, the University of Chicago, and Durham University.

    Kerr joined the Department of Mathematics in 2010, and currently holds a grant from the NSF to study "Algebraic cycles, Hodge theory, and arithmetic."
