Third Year Major Oral: Finite element hybridization and postprocessing for the Hodge–Dirac problem
Speaker: Marston Xue, Washington University in St. Louis
Abstract: Finite element exterior calculus (FEEC) studies PDEs associated with complexes of differential operators acting on Hilbert function spaces. We discuss the application of the hybrid FEEC method to the abstract Hodge-Dirac equation, and introduce how numerical solutions can be "postprocessed" to an improved approximation compared to the original solution.
