"C*-correspondences and representations of real reductive groups"

Abstract: In this talk I will discuss families of C*-correspondences implementing parabolic induction functors for real reductive groups. Applications include joint work with Tyrone Crisp and Nigel Higson regarding the description up to Morita equivalence of the reduced C*-algebra of reductive groups and second adjoint-type results.
