Algebraic Geometry Seminar: "Noether-Lefschetz cycles on moduli space of quasi-polarized K3 surfaces"

Speaker: Zhiyuan Li, Fudan University

Abstract: In this talk, I will survey the recent progress on the study of Noether-Lefschetz cycles (with coefficients) on moduli space of quasi-polarized K3 surfaces (or more generally, hyperkaehler type varieties). I will focus on the construction of tautological cycles via Noether-Lefschetz theory as well as some related conjectures.  I will also mention the applications on understanding the birational geometry of those moduli spaces.
