Algebraic Geometry Seminar: "Interpolating Motives"

Abstract: I will report on an ongoing project with Madhav Nori on the construction of an abelian category whose objects interpolate certain types of classical motives. At the level of realizations and specializing in the family, one gets classical hyper-geometric motives. I will discuss the l-adic realization, the period isomorphism and a monodromy theorem in this context.
