Analysis Seminar/ Major Oral: "Weighted Inequalities for Several Operators "

Robert Rahm

Organizer: John McCarthy

Abstract: The subject of this talk is weighted inequalities and dyadic operators.  For a given operator T, we would like to know the norm of T as a map between two weighted Lebesgue spaces. Many operators (e.g. Calderon-Zygmund Operators, Riesz Potentials, Bergman Projection) can be estimated by simpler dyadic operators.  Using these simpler operators, one can prove sharp weighted estimates in the one weight case and estimates in the two weight case. In particular, we will discuss recent results of Spencer, Tchoundja, Wick and the speaker.
