Math 127 Information
This
week’s quiz will cover Sections 9.8, 9.9, 10.1—10.4.
The
last day of classes is Monday, December 7th. The final is a week
later on the 14th. The final exam will cover the entire course. It
will have 20 questions including:

At least three
questions based on the material in Chapters 6 and 7. These questions will be
minor modifications of earlier exam questions on that material or minor
modifications of the book’s worked out examples in
those chapters.
·
Similarly, at
least three questions based on the material of Chapter 8.
·
Similarly, at
least three questions based on the material of Chapter 9.
·
Similarly, at
least three questions based on the Webwork assignments.
·
Also, at least
three questions based on the material in Chapter 10 (but not necessarily based
on the book’s examples).
As
with previous exams, you may bring a 3 X 5 note card and a non-graphing
calculator.
The
general information sheet from the first class has details about dropping 2 low
webwork and quiz grades. Two will be dropped; but it
is two from ten, not from eleven.
