Calculus Help At Washington University
There are several sources for help for calculus students.
- Instructor's office hours. These are generally posted on the course webpage.
- Calculus Help Room. Graduate Student Teaching Assistants (TAs)
for the Calculus courses (127,128,131,132, 233) hold office hours in this room.
These TAs are also available for help for any student who comes to the
Calculus Help Room.
- Appointment with your instructor or TA. You can email your instructor or email
and make an appointment.
- Cornerstone Calculus Help Desk.
This is walk-up help available at cornerstone in the evenings
(Sunday through Wednesday from 7-11PM, check their schedule:
Cornerstone Help Hours
- Cornerstone Mentoring.
Mentors are available at Cornerstone.
Form a study group and get a mentor from Cornerstone.

- There is a list of math tutors available in the main office of the Mathematics Department (Cupples I room 100): 935-6760
- Engineering Tutoring Services
(only available to EN students)
- PLTL.
(Math 131, 132, 233 only).
Students who want to participate in PLTL need to sign up for PLTL at the
beginning of the semester.
Even if you don't sign up, there are PLTL problem available at the PLTL webpage.
- The Math Department maintains a tutor list.
Just stop in to the Math Department and ask (or call them).
